Cabo San Lucas, where the sea, sun and desert join to cast an air of mystery and romance over all who
visit. Cabo was once a tranquil fishing village and, in times long ago, a hangout for pirates. Although no
longer the fishing village of old, and not many of the old pirates are seen around town any more, the magic of Cabo remains. Cabo is still small and charming by any standards, with a population of under 30,000. We do have 4 stop lights now. And with the number of activities available to the visitor, you could easily imagine you are in a giant amusement park.

Cabo has come of age. Located at the southernmost tip of the magnificent Baja peninsula, Cabo has been blessed with what many describe as the perfect climate. Average year-round temperature is 78 degrees, it is a little cooler in the winter and a bit warmer in the summer.

But Cabo is far from remote these days, and the attraction of this magical spot is no longer limited to marlin fishing. Cabo can be, many different things to people. Cabo San Lucas has become know as the perfect vacation spot for the entire family.  Cabo can be as quiet, romantic and relaxing as any secret hideaway.  It can be as lively as anyone can possibly imagine. If your wish is to enjoy a quiet candlelight dinner, "muy romantico", beside the shimmering sea for just the two of you, we have some of the most romantic dining spots on the face of the earth.  If golf, water sports, boating, fishing, ATV's, horseback riding and numerous other activities are what you seek, they're all  here, waiting for you.  If "party till you drop" is the mood of the evening, Cabo has got it for you, big time!

The Meliá San Lucas is located on one of Mexico's finest beaches, where our guests can swim or rent water sport equipment. The resort looks out onto the famous rock formations of Los Cabos known as "el Fin de la Tierra" (Land's End). Meliá San Lucas is about 45 minutes from the airport, and is just a few steps away from the colonial village of Cabo San Lucas, where guests wander by day for great shopping, and return at night for the hottest party scene in North America. Explore the Arena waterfalls, dive into one of Cabo's renowned diving sites, or play one of the 5 incredible golf courses that surround the resort.

Dining:

While in Mexico, you can still enjoy a stack of pancakes with eggs and bacon at our full American breakfast buffet in "El Jardin". Dinner buffets with a different theme are also served each night in El Jardin. "La Palapa" is an open air restaurant located by the pool and overlooking the sea where you can choose from a variety of seafood specialties or traditional Mexican cuisine.

Within an easy stroll or cab ride many other restaurants where you will find something to suit every taste and budget. We recommend that you head into town to experience some local food. Ocean fresh seafood served in a number of tasty and imaginative ways is a standard on local menus.

Entertainment:

Cabo San Lucas has become Mexico's newest hotspot. Meliá San Lucas is at the center of the action. Come party with us and hundreds of other young fun seekers at this desert oasis. Sit next to the pool and sip tequila while singing along with the Mexican mariachi band. Under the bright desert stars and by the waves of the Sea of Cortez, Meliá San Lucas is the perfect place to meet other young people and play some volleyball in the pool. With upscale accomodations, endless tasty food and the best drinks in Cabo San Lucas, you'll wish you never had to leave. Those seeking an active nightlife will want to head into Cabo. There are popular restaurant-bars like Carlos and Charlies and many interesting local bars and restaurants
